Even if July 4th might be over already, toddlers and kids can still enjoy fireworks through painting! This is a fun way for kids who love fireworks and arts at the same time. This activity is so easy, quick and affordable. And for those of you who are always on the look out for STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) activities for toddlers, this particular idea is great and fun! Just keep in mind to keep some of your tissue paper rolls for paint stamping!
EVERYDAY FIRWEWORKS PAINTING:
– Tissue paper roll
– Crayola Kid’s Paintings
– Construction papers or any paper
1. Cut one end of the tissue paper roll as seen in the picture below. We cut until halfway of the roll.
2. Pour little amount of each white, red and blue paintings in a piece of paper as seen in the picture below.
3. Use the tissue paper roll for stamping. We tried different colors of construction papers until we got our personal favorite “fireworks” effect.
We tried a light brown construction paper.
We also used a light purple construction paper.
But our personal favorite is using a black construction paper for the best “fireworks” effects.
And there you go! Let us know how your artwork turned out! And if you would like to see more STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) activities using tissue paper rolls, just click on the pictures below!
